Essential Information

Bicycles & Maintenance
We provide high-quality Electric Bicycles and Hybrid Bikes, sourced from some of the world’s leading brands. Our hybrid range features models from globally recognized manufacturers, ensuring both comfort and performance on varied terrain.

A selection of essential tools and spare parts is carried by the support vehicle and your guide to manage basic on-the-go repairs.

Safety Protocols
Helmet use is mandatory during all cycling activities—no exceptions. Riders not wearing a helmet will not be permitted to cycle. While your tour leader is trained in first aid and basic emergency response, personal responsibility is key when riding. All participants are required to carry valid travel insurance that specifically covers cycling or adventure travel.

Tour Guides
Each trip is led by an English-speaking local guide, well-versed in the region’s history, culture, and traditions. Our guides are seasoned cyclists with the know-how to perform on the go repairs along the route and are also trained in basic medical care.

Passports & Visas

Ensure your passport remains valid for at least six months beyond the end date of your trip. Travelers from over 150 countries—including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the USA, and EU member states—can apply for an electronic visa (e-visa). Applications must be submitted at least four days prior to arrival, and fees vary depending on your nationality. The e-visa permits a stay of up to 60 days from the date of entry.

To check eligibility and begin your application, please visit the official Indian visa website.
Travelers from countries not listed for e-visa eligibility must obtain a tourist visa in advance through their nearest Indian embassy or consulate. A directory of Indian embassies worldwide is available online.

Health & Vaccinations

While no vaccinations are required for entry into India, it is strongly advised to be immunized against Typhoid, Hepatitis A, and Hepatitis B. Additionally, ensure your Tetanus and Polio vaccinations are current. For the most up-to-date travel health advice, consult with your healthcare provider well before your departure.

Meals

Meals provided on tour are indicated as follows: B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner. We’re happy to accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences—please inform us of any special requirements at the time of booking.

Drinks

Staying hydrated is a priority. Chilled water and electrolyte drinks are provided during cycling. Beverages such as soft drinks and juices during meals are not included. Alcoholic beverages, including beer, are available for purchase but are not part of the tour package.

Additional Expenses

It’s a good idea to carry some extra cash for personal expenses. Entry fees for all scheduled attractions and parks mentioned in the itinerary are covered. Any optional or unscheduled visits are at your own expense.

Currency & Money Matters

India’s currency is the Indian Rupee (INR). ATMs are widely available in most towns and cities and typically accept international debit and credit cards. We recommend withdrawing cash upon arrival at the airport. Your guide will assist with ATM access throughout the journey.
