Day 1: Arrival, Bike Fit & Welcome Dinner

Welcome to Hampi—where ancient stone temples meet timeless landscapes.
Upon arrival, settle into your stay at Hampi Feathers, a serene boutique hotel nestled amidst boulders and banana plantations. Take the afternoon to unwind, explore the property, or stroll through the nearby village lanes for a taste of the local rural life.
At 7:00 PM, we gather for a welcome dinner, where you’ll meet your fellow riders and the trip leaders. Over a relaxed meal, we’ll walk you through the adventure that lies ahead—from the heritage trails of Hampi to the forested hills and coastlines en route to Goa.
Expect days of discovery, stories etched in stone, and the joy of riding through ever-changing terrain.
Day 2: Pedaling Through Prehistory: Dolmens, Cave Art & Anjanadri Betta

Terrain: Flat, canal offroading, gentle climbs & walking to visit heritage sites approx 5 km walking
We begin our day early with a 6:00 AM start, followed by a quick warm-up session and a nourishing breakfast at the hotel to fuel up for the ride ahead.
Our journey kicks off along the scenic Tungabhadra Canal road, flanked by fertile fields and rural life stirring awake. We pass a scenic reservoir before reaching Heerebenakal, home to ancient megalithic dolmens. A short 2 km walk leads us to a serene pond surrounded by these prehistoric burial sites.
Back on the saddle, we continue to Onake Kindi, where centuries-old cave paintings lie hidden amidst the hills. The route meanders through quiet village lanes, farmlands, and swaying palm groves.
By late morning, we pass through Anjanadri Betta, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, we shall visit the shrine on the next day.
Day 3: Exploring Hampi’s Heritage – Ride, Walk

Terrain: Flat terrain , walking & visit 9 historic sites too approx 3.5 km of walking

We begin our day at 6:00 AM with a quick warm-up and an early breakfast at the hotel. Today’s experience blends 40 km of cycling with 4,000 steps on foot, as we journey through Hampi’s most iconic heritage sites.
Our first stop is the Underground Shiva Temple, followed by the intricately carved Hazara Rama Temple. We continue to the elegant Lotus Mahal and majestic Elephant Stables, then ride on to the Queen’s Bathhouse and the rare Octagonal Bath & Vittala temple each offering glimpses into the grandeur of the Vijayanagar Empire.
Later, we approached Anjanadri Betta, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. For those up for the climb, a 475-step ascent rewards with sweeping views of Hampi’s dramatic boulder landscape.
Day 4: Coach transfer to Dharwad, Cycling from Dharwad to Dandeli

Distance Covered: Transfer – 200 km approx 4 hours – cycling 50 km
Terrain: Rolling hills, forest paths, village roads
Accommodation: Whistling woodz
After breakfast in Hampi, transfer by vehicle to Murakatti village near Dharwad, with a lunch stop en route. Post lunch, begin cycling toward Dandeli. The route moves from the outskirts of Dharwad into open countryside, passing through farmland, village roads and patches of forest. As you ride, the landscape shifts from semi-urban areas to rural and hilly terrain. The ride concludes by 6:00 PM at Whistling Woodz Resort in Dandeli, near the Kali River and Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. This stage marks the transition from cultural landscapes to the natural belt of the Western Ghats.
Day 5: Forest to Foothills: Dandeli to Mollem by Cycle

Terrain: mostly flat, downhill descend

Begin your ride from Whistling Woodz Resort in Dandeli, cycling through forest roads, river crossings, and the buffer zones of Kali Tiger Reserve. The route winds through dense teak plantations, small settlements, and stretches of quiet tarmac flanked by forest cover. Cross into Goa as you descend into the Western Ghats, passing remote hamlets and spice farms. The ride ends at Nature’s Nest Eco Resort near Mollem, on the edge of Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. A day of changing terrain and minimal traffic, this route is ideal for riders seeking a mix of wilderness, rural life, and hill descents.
Day 6: Mollem to Netravali – Through Canopies & Forgotten Legends

Terrain: Forest trails, rolling hills , paved roads

Today’s ride takes you deeper into forested Goa, with a mix of climbs and long descents beneath dense tree cover. Pass through quiet hamlets and pause to explore Shigao’s ancient rock carvings hidden in a cave, a fascinating window into Goa’s prehistory.
Visit the Narayandev shrine in Vichundrem before reaching your farmstay at Netravali. After lunch, take a walk through the forest or simply relax until dinner is served under starlit skies.
Day 7: Netravali to Palolem – Forests to the Sea

Distance Covered: ~48 km
Terrain: Climbs, descents, flat coastal routes
Accommodation: Not applicable – Guest can extend stay or we could assist with airport transfer
Begin with a 10 km climb through shaded forest trails before descending into South Goa’s quieter coastal belt. Ride past Cotigao and Poinguinim reserves, where the forest gradually opens to fields and rural roads.
As you near the coast, the air grows saltier and the landscape flattens. Arrive at the crescent-shaped Palolem Beach—your final stop. The journey ends with a serene beachside lunch. You can choose to spend the afternoon at leisure by the sea, swim, or relax at a beach café.
